Connecting to master server

I just started playing, so i'm a total noob.

basically, when i try to connect to the master server list, it doesnt respond.

how do i connect?

it says "Master server does not answer"

im running the newest version, just dl'd it yesterday

there is probably a firewall blocking it from connecting. On mine it prompts me to allow the program as a exception.

are you using windows XP?

it asked about that and i told it to accept the program... so idk what it is

do you have any other firewalls?

I'm not that good with XP anymore I have been using Vista since this summer.

In that event the latest version should try another master server, iirc. Can you please put the version number from the main menu?
