Aha, but what are you thankful for? Apparently we're supposed to say that today, so I'll go first.

I'm thankful that the Brits who settled this continent betrayed all the treaties they signed to wipe out the natives with a combination of biological and conventional warfare so that my own ancestors could emigrate to a civilized nation.
