i get this problem in most servers that i play
i thought it was my isp causing loss of data

Yeah, try pressing the escape key next time it happens and see if it ends the problem. For me, everything comes back to normal about one second after pressing it. Sounds like coincidence, but it's definitely not. I'm thinking that the small delay is caused by the amount of time it takes to contract the server and get the new data back.
