Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

I think edd's cycle is also used in "TR2N Origins" without his name.... Hmm, looking at their included moviepacks, they have a lot of stuff that's either unattributed or incorrectly attributed. In same cases a certain author is given (or has taken) credit for the moviepack, but a part of it (e.g., ...

Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

Yes, it is Edd's. How did you obtain it without knowing whose it is? Yes, right, it's the so called "full detail cycle" from edd. I added the info to the readme. I just had some chaos with all the Armagetron stuff I examined before I started with the moviepack. I think edd's cycle is also used in "...

Yeah you are right, but sorry, I don't know who made this beautiful high poly cycle.
Maybe somebody here can tell me?

Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

Hi everybody, you can download V0.2 of Classic_Beauty from here: http://bodenstaendig.de/armagetron/ It also contains a beautiful freeware font and a minimalistic cockpit for V0.3 and up. The problem with the wrong aspect ratio of the font when used in the cockpit still remains, so it looks kinda ug...

Re: Essential Cockpit 0.0.5

Hi everybody, I'm just modifying the essential cockpit (and the essential remix cockpit) for my classic beauty movie pack. It's even more essential then IMHO. :) Check: http://forums3.armagetronad.net/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=21133 Could anybody please tell me why all the letters (when used in a cockpit...

Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

Hi again. I'm just doing a minimalistic cockpit for Armagetronad 0.3 and up. It will be included in with Moviepack_classic_beauty_0.2. Check the screenshot. Could anybody tell me why the fonts in the cockpits are always rendered to about half of they actual width? This looks ugly and wrong. "Size he...

Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

There's even an entry at wikipedia about "Bodenständig" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodenst%C3%A4ndig_2000 Popstars! :o I finally think about giving moviepacks a try now, once for biobern's work and also for theMatty's (http://forums3.armagetronad.net/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=21139). Yeah, ok, I admit...

Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

I heard that Armagetron 0.3.0 and 0.4.0 use a real ttf-font but I was not able to find Win32-binaries of these betas. Anybody help? http://beta.armagetronad.net/?product=client&branch=0.3 Thanks for the link! I tried this on both of my Win32-machines. Looks veeery messy at 1920x1200 IMHO. At 1024x7...

Re: Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

Boxed, knock it off. That kind of stuff is frowned upon here. Please edit your post. biobern, can you upload a screenshot or two of your moviepack? You'll get a better response if people see a preview. Here is the screenshot. Looks very similar to other classic moviepacks, I know. But I did not fin...

Moviepack_Classic_Beauty

Hi, I'm new here. :-) I always liked Armagetron, since about 10 years. I even used it as a kind of screensaver just for the beauty. What I did not like is that it renders rather ugly at nowaday's high resolutions like 1920x1200. What I did now was hand painting high resolution rim walls that look li...
