We can vote on that later, when it's less heated here. We can't make a rule for EVERYTHING. We should now discuss how to treat the individual cases we have.

edit 2: I would find it really great if you'd repeat it because i'm not pru's fort leader anymore and you'd give Ai a chance to prove himself. i also don't play fort anymore unless they want me back. I'm not needed anymore as it seems. Have fun, I'll go back to ctf.

1.) The community can punish players/teams even if they did not strictly violate the rules by
suspending players who are not signed up on the Challenge Board during a game - Yes
banning them* for 1-3 ladles - Yes (just 1)
banning them* permanently - No

2.) Speeders swapped their teams in Ladle 36. This is clearly not against the rules but it is by no means good sportsmanship. As a consequence of that,

both teams' players will be excluded from the next three ladles - No

3.) The outcome of Ladle 36 is declared void. -No, its the and stupid option, we won this really good.. that was 2 days ago.. records are made.. no one cant make it different

4.) Sock Puppet Teams

Teams with less than 3 players are invalid and lose by default. - Yes
Everyone who signs up more than one team will be excluded from the tournament (for a time that has to be voted on). - No
only one team per clan - No

This doesn't affect the players who didn't play for their teams (FoFo).

I have decided to run a poll for community, clan, and team leaders. It will help decide the consequences, if any, for recent Ladle issues and also ensure the event can once again be run without constant drama. Unlike past voting threads on the forum, this poll is focused towards individuals and not teams.

A smaller group of individuals may be selected to deal with future issues in a more time-sensitive manner (see issue 1). This group will be able to make decisions based on intent, rather than exact documented tournament rules. This group will function similarly to the Evil Triumvirate that governs the Armagetron Advanced project. For example, if an issue is discovered right before the Ladle is set to begin then this the group can vote quickly and find a resolution. The Ladle will continue to have quarterly voting for setting changes, general rules, and other aspects of the tournament.

You should vote for what you personally think is best for the community and the continuation of the Ladle tournament.

Note: Select one option for each question. The option with the most votes in a question is the winner. If there is a tie, then the leftmost tied-option is the winner.

Reporting Results

The specific results of this poll will be confidential—only I will know which option you have selected for each question. The reason for keeping your vote confidential is so that you may vote truly how you feel without backlash and scorning from other players.

Upon voting, I will send you an ID number. This ID number will be used to identify your vote in the results. This will allow you to ensure that your vote was counted, and that there was no tampering. For example, the results will be listed like so:

I think this thread was created too quickly, and it seems a bit messy. The players that donate so much to the Ladle, such as with servers or other resources, will not be represented in the vote here. I think the community needs to come together to solve this issue and make the Ladle fun again, and I think this poll will help.
