Legendary Spirals once glimpsed from afar

Post by nicolas.b »

thak and i were killing time with spirals yesterday at tigers-teamplay when he mentioned something pretty neat: he said that he once took part in a FOUR player spiral at goshdarn (and presumably it wasn't one that lasted like 10 seconds before people started crashing, but one where the people made at least one trip in and one trip out).

and that reminded me of another time (i think also at goshdarn), where someone was doing spirals to kill time that were shaped like a symmetrical cross, which was challlenging enough, but they were also UNBELIEVABLY tight. and the person would just keep going in and out, all day long. i forget who it was, exactly, altho it might have been seleucus or Z or sansi possibly- it's been so long...

anybody have any stories like this? (or tips?)

hehe, you almost caused my brain to meltdown, node!

i didn't recall it being 'C' but maybe it was an alias. i've definitely seen him do some amazing tight, superspeed stuff. wish he still played but i guess his studies come first... :(

thanks, subby- "algerion" is ringing a very strong bell. anybody know if he still plays? gotta get some screenies!

i can write my name in walls but it looks sloppy as hell, plus i usually get distracted and start doing something else. plus if jaber is around i just whine and beg enough until he does it for me anyway. so yeah, i can write my name in walls. :)

I <3 SPIRALS

lol

We should all try to get one some time and make a 6 player spiral. Someone can make a private server, 6 people, and only us forum members here will participate in the spiral.

sounds good, zapple, but as the youngest one here you have to sit on the sidelines and watch, fetching us snapples whenever we click our fingers.

(geez, that was kind of mean.)

Haha... nice one. That sounds like an Armagoshdarn one liner. :)

On a side note, I think humility must taste something like vegetables.
