i know 2.6 still isn't "stable" but i'm not the only one longing for it to be installed on the Armagoshdarn server am i?

Armagoshdarn is such a popular server... I have mixed feelings about upgrading. I suppose if depends how unstable "unstable" is, heh. If there are periodic crashes that would leave everybody having to play on another server until goshdarn is back up then it's just not worth it.
2.6 would have been handy for booting Jesus Christ out on Christmas (gasp). Hopefully getting somebody silenced or booted isn't too easy, though. I can see people now bringing in extra names just to abuse the system.

hope it's hard to abuse but i haven't a clue really, haven't seen it happen on any 2.6 servers (which don't crash btw) but if it's gonna happen anywhere it will probably be on Armagoshdarn... *where's the emoticon for confused, proud, and slightly sad at the same time?*

Hahaha. Hmmm, who me? Without a few flaming morons now and again I wouldn't be able to vent some frustration with a nice short "STFU". I'm just positive it improves my game play...
I don't know how often we'll need to kick people but the silence menu sure might get a work out! Still, that will only work for non-malicious users. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how it's implemented.
