MacBook Pro Low fps?

Just like it says got a new macbook pro and im getting around 12-18 fps?
my ibook with the same settings gets 50-80 any suggestions.

We don't have fully working universal binaries yet, so your Intel CPU is working in PPC emulation mode. It shouldn't hurt performance THAT much, though.

If you can live without (which won't be working, you need to disable it or you get a crash), you can try the half-functional universal binary: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/arma ... downloadnd

Ok thanks for letting me know, I will just wait for the universal to play it on this computer. How long do you think it will be before its ready?

As far as I understand it, we need to wait for a library we depend on to become universal as well, so it is nothing we can influence.

I may do a universal release with sound disabled. I need a tester, though. I don't have a Macintel.
