ASCII Code or whatever it's called

I'm sure you guys all know Supertard. Does anyone know how I can get those letter's for my name?????

If someone does know how, just give me your Windows Messenger and we can talk through there about it...alot easier than talking through threads.

Start Menu -> Run
Type "charmap" and press enter.

From the character map you can select and copy the different characters you would like to use in your name. Once you have done so, navigate to your ArmageTron folder and then the "var" folder. Finally, open the user.cfg file and edit the name associated with "player_1", typing/pasting in your new name with the funky characters. Save the file, and then open the game and proceed to play.

Ok...In command prompt i have gotten to the armagetron folder...but the only things that are in the "dir" from are:
Armagetron.lnk (takes me to Tron)
Documentation.lnk (takes me to a tutorial website)
Uninstall (self-explaintory)
Uninstal.lnk (likewise)

am i in the right spot in order to get to the "var" file and then the user.cfg????

You are in the wrong place. =( It sounds as though you are in the start menu folder for the game. That's why you are only seeing link files.

Instead, go to Program Files\ArmageTron (or whatever you named it upon installing). From here you can enter the var folder and edit the proper file.

Of course, using the command prompt works fine, but if it's easier you can browse using Explorer. I cringe when writing "folder" because I'm a DOS Fan, but some people don't know what a "directory" is so... tried to be clear. Heh.
