Deutsch forum?
Hello,
just by randomly browsing through the forums I found several threads which were (partially) written in German. On some occassions, this seems to have annoyed people who don't understand the language (which is perfectly understandable -- you can't follow a discussion when you don't understand half the people participating).
I think it would be nice to add a German forum (just one forum, no subcategories) so the native speakers would have a place to chit-chat without disturbing others.
I know several forums that provide such language based subforums (e.g. Gentoo forum) and it seems to have worked out well for them.

I like the idea; how about one general "foreign" forum with the convention of putting the language in the thread title? But just for the purpose of being able to post in your own language without getting flamed, everything of public interest should be held in English.
The German threads so far were mostly support related and morphed from English to German along the way.

I think having rooms for people wanting to express themself in a language other than english could have the benefit of drawing in a bit more of the community to this forum. Its easy to imagine that some people might be scared away when seeing only the occasional post in their own language, if they even manage to Enasdklfjfind one in the sea of english English post. Spanish, German and French come to mind.

Original (from my history notes):
The translation:From Lucifer's Notebook wrote: The English, in turn, colonized by taking land from the Indians and driving them out in the start of a genocidal campaign that would end "From sea to shining sea"
Curiously, the phrase "I am not a prisoner, I am a free man" doesn't work at all. The french translation is perfect, but going from French to German translates as "could not translates". Is it a German cultural thing that their language can't translate that phrase from French?Translated X times wrote: The English, in the restoration nonupdated relative, colonized, making
