Toggle Brake Lag Bug Glitch

I was playing earlier in YS and I got bored of waiting to play so I started tapping the "toggle brake" key (down arrow for me) and I noticed that it causes a huge amount of lag.
The lag (for me anyway) seems to last for up to 6 rounds.
I'm not sure but it seems to cause others lag, when I do it, they all start complaining about lag.

I wouldn't be asking if it were just something I noticed, but this has been reaffirmed by a few of other players.

Does the lag only come from "toggle break" and not "brake"?

Not sure, I use toggle brake as my only brakes, so I've not tried it.
Edit: Yes, I just checked and it doesn't have to be toggle. Any brake does it.

That kind of effect has been around...a long time. I was sure I might have mentioned it somewhere before, but a quick search doesn't turn up anything.

Did find this thing that mentions Yellow Sub specifically, but I doubt it's related. Just sorta a side note.
