I was wondering how I could remove the dark grey transparent background of the chat overlay on 0.4?
I'd like it just be text on the screen the way it is on 0.2.8. I can upload a screenshot if my description isn't clear enough

Turn off alpha blending in your display options. It removes it for me.

For me, the console command chat_layer 0 makes it fully transparent (aka gone) as well.
