Multiplayer LAN game like Armegetron? (no guns/blood)
I really like Armegetron Advanced (AA) and it has really improved over the years.

I use the game in my highschool computer class which has up to 20 players at a time.
It's a fun game, fast pace, and very colorful.

I would like to find another game just as fun so they don't get tired of AA, too soon.
Since it's in public school, I would like to avoid gore, like in Quake Arena. Guns are OK, but COD may be too much too.
Players who play poorly like the fact that they get a new chance after a few minutes of watching the better players (the follow camera is brilliant).

Is there ANY OTHER game that's comparable?

Excluding shooters makes it a little tough. You could go the route of racing games, which would probably be your next easiest to find. There's cars or bikes (even pedal bikes) and more I'm sure. I think there's an LAN Mario Kart game, though may not be free. If you don't like that direction, you could go in the way of sports games. I'm sure you could find football, hockey, soccer, etc.

Something like AA is a little hard to come up with. If you allowed guns, there's games like Twisted Metal. Not sure if there's an LAN one though. There may even be a Death Race type game since that movie was pretty popular when the first one came out.

You can choose FPS games without gore. I'm pretty sure blood is optional in Sauerbraten. You could easily set up a server for LAN with something like that. Another option may be F.E.A.R as I think it's also optional there, but maybe not.

So in this game you have to master bunny jump, strafe jumps, slides, rocket jumps, plasma cannon climbing etc to be able to move fast/smooth enough to be good racer/difficult shooting target/fast to get powerups.

There are many games mode: ctf,bomb,race,ca(clan arena), dm(death match),tdm(team dm) etc along with instagib mode if you like one shot mode.

I was playing ica (instagib clan arena) where people run very very very very fast and shoot at pixels.

It is a game like armagetron, unrealistic and hard to learn.
