Arma crashing with OSX Mavericks

Post by ppotter »

Played for the first time today since I installed Mavericks, and if I switch to window mode at all there was a high chance the game will either freeze, or unexpectedly quit when I try to return to full screen.

I can't reproduce the crash—switching from windowed↔full screen worked OK.

The crash log indicates that this might be an SDL issue. Can you see if the crashes still occur if you update SDL? Download SDL-1.2.15.dmg and replace “Armagetron Advanced.app/Contents/Frameworks/SDL.framework” with the one from the DMG.

It doesn't happen every time, sometimes I've switched back and forth multiple times before it happens, sometimes it happens every time.

Updated the SDL, I'll see it how it goes. Cheers
