Almost all icons replaced? (Help please)

Hello, I have a predicament and I would really appreciate any help anyone could offer.

The situation is this: a bunch of my stuff has been replaced by the icon for Star Wars: KotoR (great game by the way). When I clicked the kotor launcher (the icon for it was a strange blank piece of paper for some reason, if that makes a difference) It said it couldn't recognize the program or something, and I could browse by internet to find it or do it manually. So I found the kotor directory and clicked the kotor launcher. When I hit okay, the result is what you see below. Every time I try and click on anything, a pop up appears saying "The game does not seem to be properly installed. Please restore the installation or reinstall the game". It was kind of amusing for a minute, but now I it's just annoying. Does anyone know whats going on and how I can fix it? Sorry my description isn't the best, I'm not very tech savvy

From the sounds of it, and looking at your screenshot, it looks like you just set a default icon for .ink files, which is a shortcut in Windows. I'm not a Windows user, so I'm not sure how you would go about getting rid of it, but I'm sure Google could help.

My suggestion would be to reboot your computer first though. Maybe simply refreshing the list would do the trick. Again, I don't know how to do it in Windows, which is why I say to reboot. There may be another way.

Since this problem has occurred to me before I understand your predicament. Seems like that game of you'rs has caused .ink files to become the default for its icon. Some games do that which is certainly a shame

That would make sense. lol Kind'a stupid though that it can do it. I'll just stay quiet over here on Linux. lol
