I've seen you use that term a few times recently. What is it supposed to mean?

But "attack" is too much? (Not to mention "very good" and "something.") Come on, man, a modicum of effort is all it takes, not even that. It's a forum, not your cell phone. If you don't bother to use full words—short ones, at that—no one should bother to pay attention to your posts. They don't deserve to be read because you apparently believe they don't deserve to be readable. When you type like that, you're basically sending two messages: A) "What I'm saying doesn't need to be legible or comprehensible because it isn't important enough for everyone to read, anyway." B) "I don't care if the only people who can read my posts are those who automatically understand texting grunts; screw everyone else, they don't matter. Only I matter."

It's the least you can do.

Also, keep texting shortcuts confined to your cell phone. Everybody understands when you use "2" instead of "too" because you were typing with your thumbs on a number pad. But you cannot let that habit sneak into your work or school emails or even message boards. And there's no reason for it, you have all the time in the world to construct and proofread your message. If you are so pressed for time that you can't spend the extra quarter of a second to type out the full word, you need to get up right away and finish your responsibilities. Don't even worry about closing the window - that would take almost a full second.

I have to look up words that you type to understand what you are saying sometime. What is stopping you from looking up "text talk"?

How about this! A solution! Let's all talk in simple 4th grade English!
That way there is no "text talk" (I hope 4th graders don't carry around cell phones these days) and no long words!

I should really stop this. I know.

EDIT:

That is a great quote, to be honest.

1) Nothing to do with the topic, you're thread derailing once again.
2) Everyone but you seems to understand what FoFo writes ingame / on the forum, so you can sit your petty ass down.

kthxbi (do I have to spell that out for you?)

Right, do I need to reactivate the formal warning system again? In order of posts:
Phytotron: As you readily observe, he's using perfectly normal words most of the time. And really, you were probably the only one noticing at all there was an abbreviation there. Was that tirade really required here? (It was a soft and gentle one by your standards, I have to admit, and true in general, but why here?)
INW: Don't be stupid. If you have to look up one of Pyhto's words, you learn something (plus, it's really just four uncommon words he's using over and over). If you have to look up a txting abrvtion, you learn nothing of value. Not to mention that this one apparently couldn't be looked up.
vogue: Topics only get derailed as soon as you guys reply. So don't, k?

PMs will be ignored. You'd just be complaining I'd be leaving this forum to those kids/let Phytotron do whatever he wants, as you always do.
