3rd & 4th Place in Competitions

Well after reading Tits post in WST topic congratulating ML on 3rd place(which is inaccurate since ML didn't get to face TZ for 3rd or 4th place)

My thought is have an extra match for the two losing teams in semifinals?

I mean I would like to know who came in 3rd & 4th place.

It could give time for both final teams to rest up for the final match. I could code a bracket for the wiki that can accurately show the 3rd & 4th place bracket.

Any thoughts?

Also I think the process would go like this.
After both teams have lost their semi-finals, they then go to the server that's hosting the Finals(this server will also be used for the 3rd place & 4th place match)
Then they can either do a best of 3 or the first one to win a match kind of ordeal.
in the mean time both final teams get to rest or pee break etc etc.
After that edit the bracket to whom won 3rd and yadada then finals take place.

No, I would have absolutely no interest in playing for 3rd place...what's the point? No one even remembers who got 2nd so who cares about 3rd?

Yeah it won't let me vote but I have to say I don't really see the point in a third or fourth place. If we were giving away prizes then yeah but not just for fun.

Not really interested. After I lose I have no interest in playing ever again, for a few hours. Though if both teams are willing, I don't see a reason to stop it. But it shouldn't delay the final.

I like the idea but durka makes a good point ^^^ u never really hear about 2nd place, let alone 3rd.

It would just delay the tournament and that's not worth it if noone is gonna remember 3rd and 4th place anyway.

2nd place is already 1st loser; nobody cares about 2nd and 3rd loser.
