The same directory as the moviepack folder, but not inside the moviepack folder.
~/Library/Application Support/Armagetron Advanced/
moviesounds

No sound at all? You should double check that you have sound enabled in the first place.

Wait, are you using the 0.3 client? Because sound is broken in that one.

I sculpted another explosion/dietron out of half a dozen synths. It's my favorite one yet.

I'd like to hear it without the white noise. Just the bloop-bloops.

OK, here is a remix. Killed the white noise and adjusted the other properties accordingly. It took 30 seconds. Because I'm a pro.

Oh dude, you know what this sound effect reminds me of? Bezerk! When the robots shoot. I farking love that game. It's on my top ten golden age games list (also part of the inspiration for my maze-a-tron server).

Heh, it kinda does. I loaded up the arcade version to check, as well as the Atari and Vectrex versions. It's more your own shot, though, rather than the Automazeons'.

Dude, this is sick! It's not a sound you can use like the ones above, but it's a crazy sound you can use if you are into crazy music production. My client crashed with three cycles stuck to the rim. I happened to toggle through them really fast and was like, "whoa that's awesome!" I was quick enough to open my audio editor and record the output before the client disconnected. What I have is like a vintage synth arpeggio (I was using a custom engine sound). Totally bitchin'. Probably wouldn't be too difficult to find a good loop point with a little crossfade and use it in tempo with something -- at least I'm going to try after I finish my current project.
