I was trying to figure out how to find logs for my server inside the files. I believe for chat logs you need to have chat_logs 1 for it to record..But I don't know where it would record. it says to var/chatlog.txt but there is no folder or text in the armagetron files that has var..I did find a var folder, but it was in a completely different location. If I were to make a new text file named chatlog where would I put it?
running windows vista 64 bit btw

Logs are kept in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Armagetronad on Vista, says the wiki. You can just launch your client and check on the 'About' page what the file path to the user data and var folders is. Possibly throw a Dedicated in there somewhere.

ok, and console_ladder_log , does that include bans.text

Probably not, at least I haven't put ban events into that log. We merged a couple of new log entry types from ct+sty a while back, though, maybe one of them logs bans.
