Why does FRAPS knock armagetrons FPS to a whopping 5? Any way to fix this or any recommendations on a recorder for Windows?

you can just make an arma debug recording and then replay it and use screen capture software like camstudio http://camstudio.org/ then u can easily convert to whatever format u want.

make the debug recording and use catch 3d xe afterwards (the demo should be enough). catch 3d uses directX and doesn't affect the fps in the same way camstudio and fraps do.
