An abuse of power

Let's face it, some guys just need to kicked off every now and then. The problem I have is when a person is kicked off cause the admin. does not like them. I have had this happen once to me and have seen it happen. I might not be admin., but I know that sometimes guys are kicked off that shouldn't be. The truth is that most who are kicked deserve it, but what about those who don't? They now have a bad history just because they were noobs (we all were that at once, remember?), had a weird name and the such. I have once seen an admin. change a guy's name to make fun of him and lock it at that. This is also just wrong. Those types should not be admin. If you have done this, please don't do it again. I am just also wondering how many of you have also seen this type of stuff? I know it rarely happens, but it does.

There's two things you can do:
1. Notify the server owner
2. Play on other servers

Yeah, you just gotta realize servers are like dogs. You want to pet them but the owner is stuck up and won't let you pet them.

I apologise for that incident described, and accept responsibility for allowing our moderators to act in a manner that is found to be unacceptable, which has created two threads here related to the same matter and server.

I am aware that a kick vote passed due to the described actions, which I find upsetting, and the moderator in question has had their access removed.

I have seen unfair kick votes happen many a time, on one occasion to myself when I was new here, as some fort players with a bad start will automatically blame the least credible name on the team, kicking them hoping to improve their game. I'm pretty sure that that topic has been discussed here often.

On a side note, I just saw someone change my brother's name to "Pig From Space" and leave it at that... This still happens too often. Please report it.

Anyone ever considered redirecting their outrage and indignation toward actual, real-life abuses, injustices, and various legitimate wrongdoings with real consequence rather than trivial bullshit like video game clans and so-called communities, server admins, forum flame-wars, sporting events, reality television, and celebrities' personal lives?

Some admins get "bored" as they call it and think its fun to pick on lesser know players. Don't let it get to u, most admins arent like that

I've never like that because my servers are populated about 1% of the time and any 1 player that comes is bribed into staying
