I tried to decipher your post, here is what I believe you where trying to say:
1) You opened the file "config/aiplayers.cfg" (backslash if you are on any Windows OS),
2) You made some changes to the file, which are impossible for me to guess,
3) You ran "armagetronad", which used your changes, and it complained about them,
4) You even ran "armagetronad -h" (note the space) to get a list of valid options to pass to the program, none which helped you.
How far is that from what you tried? Could you fill in the gaps, details what you are trying to do, and what you tried to achieve it? I am unable to help you further with this.

Re: ok
Hi again,
First of all, not everybody on this forums is a native english speaker. I am myself French-Canadian. Written communication is tricky at best, could I ask you to make good usage of grammar and punctuation, it would make it things easier for me to help you.
Once you have the location, you should be able to edit the file in your favorite text editor. If you do not have a favorite on, I greatly suggest you use WordPad instead of NotePad, which is known to operate badly on text files that uses line termination from different OS.
Another thing, most text editor leave backup copies when you modify a file, with too many ways of naming the back-up for me to enumerate. Locate it and rename it to overwrite the modified version. Then retry to launch the application. Did you find such a back-up file? (Q2) Did it produce a different result than the original one ? (Q3)
As a rule of thumb, before I modify a file, I usually do a backup copy. I like to add ".orig" after the file name, so in this case "aiplayers.cfg" would be "aiplayers.cfg.orig". It avoid the overly common ".bak" extension sometimes used by text editors, thus avoiding the chance of my security copy being modified, and has the added value of indicating clearly that this file is the ORIGINAL one, before I started messing it up, so that other people have a chance at guessing my personal notation in my absence. You might find such a system convenient and less trouble than re-installing the game at each error.
Overall, I find it quite difficult to help you more than these very general points, as you give me very little information of your particular trouble. What _exactly_ did you write in that file? (Q4) What was the exact output from the program, and not just the last error line? (Q5)
I've been know to be verbose, whit the added problem that people skim part of my posts. I've therefore left you some clearly indicated question, so you should not miss any.
I hope this gives you a few pointers to solve your problem.

Do you understand now or do you still need some help, and if so, on which details? (Q1)tonybbb wrote:i had no idea what u just said ...
There is no "configure". The file "aiplayers.cfg" should be located in a directory (or folder in Windows term) named "config". This is where the basic information for the AI configuration is stored, including their names. You can search on our wiki http://wiki.armagetronad.net for aiplayers.cfg, there should be a result that gives you the expected location of all the configuration files on most OS families. Otherwise, I guess searching on all your disks for the file name should return its location.... but i was never able to even get in the configure aiplayers

As you might as guessed now, I am not a Windows OS user. Thus I cannot answer about the specific of the installer programs. I can only guess that if you remove said broken file, chances are that the installer will make a new copy. I also guess that this file will be installed equally by the "client" installer than by the "server" installer, so you would only need to run one. As always, re-downloading the installer is not required, you can simply re-use the one that installed the application originally if you still have it.well if i download armagetron again and dedicated will it work?

What exactly did you do? I have no idea, other than that it is related to config and AI players.tonybbb wrote:i went to config then ai players
It means you passed it an unknown command line option. If it was working fine before, you omitted something you did.tonybbb wrote:then is says unknown command line option type armagetron.exe-h to get a list of possible options wtf does it mean???????????
