"View posts since last visit"

Someone, I think it was iceman, asked for this link to be on the top... Well, it's there now! (Sorry lack if this destroys things some.)

Hehe, I noticed a second before I read this message

When ever I come to this site, I just type "since" and hit return and tadam (*). Not much of a saver for me, but still a nice modification

for non user of mozilla/fire{bird|fox|esquimau}, there is the "search as you type" capacity. Instead of hitting Ctrl-F and then your text, it is possible to just start to type your text, and the browser points at the first matching entry.

Edit: Oups, I dont want this to turn in a "my browser is better than your's" discussion. Sorry. I was just commenting on my reaction to the new link, and felt I needed to explain how it happend.

Can i ask what the "View posts since last visit" does that is different to the link of the same name that is on the index page. This doesn't do anything different as far as i can see. Its also not no very page

I think that iceman wanted something that enables you to view posts since your last visit that stays until you have read the post(s) in question.. Currently if you log out before you've read all the posts and then if you log back in all the posts that havent been read disappear from the new posts list despite them being UNREAD. Something that works off the mysql table should do the trick. I will look into it.

What i am saying that what is the point of that link. It doesnt sort out your problem of lossing posts. For the last few months you been rabitting on about the fact that you loose your posts when you log out. True?. both links do exactly the same thing because they ARE exactly the same (see the link i posted)

and this has nothing to do with my post about losing new posts after logging out as that is a totally different subject
