Apology
Re: Apology
so all ebay users are creeps.
Re: Apology
You mean the Tron DVD? Yeah real creepy. Don't forget the book I sent to Clutch (also a minor at the time, I believe) in Canada, the computer I had lying around that I shipped to Lucifer, the money I donated to one of 2020's projects, and the money I donated to this website you are posting on. Oh yeah, I'm a real creep with my "gift giving". Nice try Taz.Tazmania wrote:Many people may consider it creepy that you bought gift (singular) for a minor on tron and sent [it] overseas to the UK.

This forum is a great place to get to know someone. Right now I'm seeing a few people showing their true selves and it's pretty interesting, haha.Tazmania wrote:Again, you're judging yet another person that you don't really know.
Re: Apology
Sinewav, my friend. I guess we're just not going to see eye to eye and I'm ok with that. You should have sent me a tron gift as well.

Have you not seen Venijn & poke playClutch wrote:Sarcasm is hard to detect over the internets I guess

Re: Apology
We just got off on the wrong foot. You might get a gift one day. Not too long ago I offered to buy everyone in mYm new headsets for TeamSpeak, even the players I didn't know (had the hardest time remembering who was in that clan when I was a member...). Who knows, you could be an unexpected beneficiary of my random kindness.Tazmania wrote:You should have sent me a tron gift as well.

Dunno what you mean by this, but when I quoted him and agreed with what he said I recognized the sarcasm. The giveaway was "character."Hoax wrote:Have you not seen Venijn & poke playClutch wrote:Sarcasm is hard to detect over the internets I guess

Re: Apology
sine, while I may not be keen on being called a creep, I do agree with you. For the most part anyway. However, my point was overlooked when you decided to ignore the truth in my post and commenced to bashing me for no reason.
We can either move on like adults and be a bit more careful about who we place our trust in, or we can keep talking ourselves in circles and brood over being deceived by someone over the internet.

just a friendly moderator reminder to everyone: don't go overboard with assumptions, allegations and that 'who are YOU to judge' crap. It leads nowhere.

LOL - i like it.Clutch wrote:Yup. Tron skills are what matters when determining characterVenijn wrote:Makes no difference IMO, I always judged Elmer for his ability on the grid.
However, I stand by my statement. In a community where in reality, you know few, or no people, why do I need to judge them on anything other than the game we all play?
Now if we were clanmates, or tron mates, that's different, but to me, Elmer is just another name on the screen. (No offense!)
Re: Apology
the point is that according to your philosophy every mass murderer you don't know personally is OK too
Re: Apology
Not really, I assume this community has the intelligence to apply what I said correctly. I don't know Elmo enough, nor have I had any reason to get to know Elmo better, I just see them as a name on a screen.Word wrote:the point is that according to your philosophy every mass murderer you don't know personally is OK too
Where does the line regarding judging others personal choices start and end? There are valid reasons to act out a different gender, some have been quoted in this thread. Should I look down on others if they make choices (I don't agree with) which have no bearing whatsoever on their ability on the grid?
To many people, Elmo always was, and always will be a name on a screen.
