Re: LADLE 36
than this is only improving the ladle by finding its flaws and demanding them fixed
Re: LADLE 36
It's not a flaw when something is abused.Magic wrote:than this is only improving the ladle by finding its flaws and demanding them fixed
Re: LADLE 36
You could've just brought it up on the forums back when you thought of it.Magic wrote:than this is only improving the ladle by finding its flaws and demanding them fixed
Re: LADLE 36
if it can be abused isnt it a flaw
Re: LADLE 36
The only flaw would be the person abusing it, how to fix them?

make it so they cant abuse the flawOlive wrote:The only flaw would be the person abusing it, how to fix them?
Re: LADLE 36
No need to worry, this is the first time Flex does something like this, and it's surely the last time it happens.

Re: LADLE 36
Just because something can be abused doesn't mean you should abuse it.
TIME OUT
I just want to take a moment to say thank you, sincerely, to people like sinewav, dlh, kyle, durka.. These are the people behind the scenes that do way more than any of you seem to realise for ladles. Without them ladle probably wouldn't even run as smoothly (if you can call this mess smooth) as it does.
I hope that you all who are taking advantage of gaps in rules are aware that everytime you create petty drama that really doesn't need to occur, these people take steps back from the organization. If anything, all this crap makes it evident that organization is what the ladle needs.
So again, thank you from those of us that still respect what the ladle is supposed to be about, sportsmanship and fun.
Before any of you start accusing people of having their own interests in mind, please take heed of how much of their own time they put into ladle out of generosity. Have some gratitude ffs.

Re: LADLE 36
not true, and don't insult me for that. it's only the first match, our next opponent would be ct. and we're playing in an US server as well. i didn't say that i like what flex did, but this whole discussion is crap and does harm to the tournament. tolerate it this time, and then make a discussion afterwards. last time dlh and his team caused a borderline case, this time flex. the only difference is that dlh complains before the tourney started and not afterwards, like flex did. the best would be if we play sp 1.Titanoboa wrote:It's true that Word backs flex up because he gets to play the weaker sp team, but that only shows his weak character.
I hate making new rules because of poor sportsmenship but both SP1 and SP2 would play in an US server, so that's NO advantage for SP in the first round (since we are arguably the weaker team). You can just win this, and then win the ladle, let SP do whatever they want and ignore them for now.

Picture this:
We loose to sp and start a discussion.
What would we be?
Bad loosers.

Re: LADLE 36
Yeah we were gonna wait it out and discuss it after the ladle instead, about how to prevent such manipulation of the brackets in the future.
But see, should we have lost, you'd just say we're sore losers.
Not that we'd lose anyway
