Actually the biggest golf tournament in the world's final round is on Aprill 11th, including Tiger Woods return from his sex scandel after around 5 months. This event will undoubtadly have the most viewers in the tournament history. Coverage will be on from around 11am to 6 pm eastern time. The ladle finals will be right at the climax of the event at around 5 pm.

Just saying, if the super bowl gets this topic, so should this.

If we didn't change it for the Superbowl I don't think a golf tournament will change it. Also unless Tiger Woods has sex on the green, this tournament will be exciting as any other (not very) so I don't see why it should affect the viewership.

The ladle was not during the last five hours of the superbowl, Luke it us with the golf tourney. The supir bowl was at night. I assume you follow hockey since you were so excited when Canada won in the olympics.

Suppose Sidney Crosby missed two thirds of the hockey season, due to infidelity to his wife, with 15 other women, after finally getting caught. If he returned to the biggest tournament(Stanley Cup) a shit load of people would be interested, including me who has watched hockey twice this year. Here are some reasons why I would be interested: will he be as good as before the incident? How will the fans receive him? How will the media/ anniuncers receive? Most importantly, will he ever be looked at in the same way as before the incident(greatness/command respect).

Well I don't put Sidney Crosby or any athlete up on a pedestal, if I watch a game it isn't because of an athlete's personal life it is because I enjoy watching the sport. Also I doubt many top tier hockey player's would be allowed to take 2/3 of a season off cause they screwed around.

Back to the point(?) though, if a playoff/any game were on that I wanted to watch and the ladle was happening at the same time I wouldn't call for a vote to change it because I realize that while I would rather watch it than play, not everyone shares my interest in hockey. I would just not play in the ladle and enjoy the game.

As it is now we can vote to move a ladle if a holiday falls on the same day, sporting events aren't eligible because if we let one in then every time a big game, in any sport, is on the sunday of a ladle there will be a fan wanting to move the date. So again if we didn't move the date for the Superbowl, when more than just one person wanted it, we shouldn't move it for golf.

SUMMARY: Watch your Golf and then play the next ladle.

Ty apparation. Hayes, I get your thinking, it is selfish to want to change the date because of an event likely only a few(maybe 1) people on these forums watch.

BTW after the next ladle, I don't foresee myself having time to set the brackets and the global authority configs. So i would recommend some people to stop in when the next shuffling occurs the Thursday before the ladle somewhere between 18 and 20 GMT on #armagetron

I wanted to have stuff like date of next ladle, Global moderation, and timing of ladles to be voted on by teams with this thread, But I have not had much time to be active here either. So just a heads up for everyone.
