I actually tried to register to correct a minor error in the dedicated server tutorial (you say you should set SERVER_IP, in fact most everyone can leave it alone, it's only needed to restrict visibility in case you have many NICs and want the server to listen to only one), only to find that z-man is already taken as a username, and not by me. Is it reserved? I'm now registered as zman and can't find user z-man in the member list. The error message I got when I tried to register as z-man was
"An account is already registered with that username, please choose another".

This is now fixed. I dunno if there was one already or not. But i have changed your name to Z-man. And in that class solar edited it. I have replied to your post.

On that topic, please read the AUTHORS file included with the game and realize it's not a 2-person project.

Right, it would be nice to have an approximately correct info there :) You don't have to list everyone's name, in fact we're probably best referred to as simply the "development team". We're anarchic most of the time.

I'm all for coexisting Code Hunter :). (Apology accepted.)

OT: Solar, we sort of go on inserting random self drawn image sprees every now and then.

You should hand-write the text.

Well, I'm not above that "magical" five post limit yet, but it appears the generally useful stuff, the Class, are already available for everyone. I'd prefer that kind of info to be on a Wiki so it can be edited into shape, some of it is quite well obfuscated :) I wouldn't have learned how to chat in color if I hadn't already known how. Provided someone is interested in doing the work, would we be allowed to assimilate the Class stuff to our Wiki? With source credit, of course.

About coexistence: it looks like other forum is attracting those people we don't make feel at home here. Clan members, those who are intimidated by posts that are longer than two lines, people who really have "lol" in their vocabulary. Not saying that they are a lower caste of internet users, of course, but there are certain communication problems between them and the usual posters here.

How will the two forums evolve from here on? This place, unless we tear it down ourselves, certainly will always be where development stuff is discussed and where we send people for bug reports and support. So as long as there is development, this place won't tie. The future of the other forum is tightly tied to one question: will there be enough helping helping and teaching going on? And that depends on Code Hunter's dedication and the dedication of the future "Forum Seniors" there. We'll have to see about that.

I hope as well that the future of my forum will go well. That forum i have is to make users feel cofortable about tron and about making clan forums for their clans. The 5 post thing is no longer there. I have thought about what you said, and that will help attract more members. So, as long as you sign up, you may recieve all of the modifications, and skins, and all sorts of things from my database. Also, most of the forums have been set for the google bot to look at as well as the guests.

About the classes: Some of the classes may not be accurate because i really don't use dedicated servers. Sorry about the amount of information i lack there. That is mainly for me because long ago, when i played tron, i had a server. My computer is a laptop (Which did not need forwarded ports, etc.) and i run windows xp pro. So im not sure about the Linux zman.

You may also use any information i guess, from my classes. Just make sure that you use additional copyright format and everything will be fine. Also include the members name in which the information came from.

How about submitting it to the wiki yourself?

Is it because you don't know how? If so, thats completely fine, and feel free to ask someone how to put your stuff up. Because just so you know the armagetron wiki has little to do with wikipedia
