ok, cool.... just wanted to make sure. I thought about using them myself (and I probably will), I just hope it won't end up as "circle the defense and wait for the zone" kinda thing. it's not fun being a goalie then

Changes the dynamics of the game a bit. Everyone ought to be clear whether or not it's "correct" to take the winzone. If it's not, why have it? Me, I'd rather leave it, prefering to fight, but only to see my yellow bellied opponent slither off to the winzone?

I think that people will take less risks, since it's a tourny and all, and some 1 on 1 battles I can see will be quite lengthly, I'll leave them to it whilst I go make a nice cup of tea. Or hang around and see who's chicken.

I'd get rid of them completely. Either that or make it a dz with a randomness of 0 and an expansion rate of about 3 a la CT Wild Fortress. Everyone's equal, they know there's a dz a coming, it becomes a battle to trap your opponent closest to the dz.

Saying that. If I'm 1 on 1 with meriton and a winzone appears? In normal play, I'd let him beat me, but in the spoon? It's mighty tempting...

Who are newbie and hunt3r? I can't remember playing with them, so I'm kinda uncertain of having them on the team.

Hunter was playing today, he seems to have a basic idea of tactics, which is a start

Newbie? Well I think lots of people play under that name. I have seen some excellent players under that name. And of course, others who play like newbies

Aside from that, if 'something something' is going to start getting selective then it becomes a clan, and I thought this was not the intention.

I've already told hunter he can't join the team, not because i think he isnt good enough or something like that, but because the team is just getting too big. I really don't want to need to dissapoint five people because i let so many people join. (i think there shouldve been a fourth team, but its a bit too late now)

Anywho... as far as ive followed the wiki and this thread, we are supposed to arrange matches now right? I've already tried to contact to fe and ct through their forums, but it would be nice if there is a way to contact the other teams. So if you are a member of another team and want to organize a match against us pm me on this forum.

oh and newbie is pretty good btw nemo

We played a seed game against anarchic wanderers. We won (2/0).

The rules are: Best out of 3.

Maybe it should be best out of 5 for the real deal.
