skitchin: being dragged by a car while holding on to the back bumper. (you can do this whenever the season, but we prefer the snow)
I love my 91 blazer just for this purpose

28 degrees here, but it's supposed to blow back out tomorrow. We'll be back to 70s for the week.
We'll probably get some winter thrown back at us one more time before spring formally starts, but no promises.

I used to do that all the time in Edmonton Alberta. Good way to get to school
never heard the word skitchin though.

I thought skitchin' was with rollerblades, and bumper-riding was
with just boots or shoes.... and yes, Edmonton... a lot of people
got to school that way back in the 70s lol

You can really use whatever, we typicaly use our selves, sleds, phone books, duct taped shoes, text books, we also found and used a Ford Taurus Bumper.

Ya we called it bumper riding
I lived in Hazeldean 97th st. and 66th ave.
Used to bumper ride to Richie high school. I did
it in the 60's
