I have a very decent NY server up right now, ID MegaFortress New York. It is hosted in NY on a decent 1gbit connection on a tron VPS that is not overloaded and has a good history of decent servers. I am going to update the config to the new Ladle config, and tomorrow morning change it to an actual Ladle Server. I am listing it on the wiki right now.

If 1 more decent server is needed, I could have scene, who is hosting ID 3v3 Bowl, turn that server into a Ladle server. His VPS is also decent and not overloaded at all.

Thanks gene. Let it be known that anyone scheduled to use the ToA server (Next Gen vs TX) should have to option to play in the ID servers instead. In fact, I implore you to use them.

yeah we can host two

and don't worry about the out-dated names/team leader config, I update it always 2 hours before the tournament starts so we don't have to change it whenever some mistake is fixed

as i posted on arma forums, we'll most likely host two. we update them a bit before the ladle starts so don't be worried in case the names are still "Ladle 43" on sunday

I'm at home in about 8 hours so it'll take a bit - maybe Ai can update it earlier

What else in comparison to tron could a vps be used for?

We tried that on mine and it didn't work out quite so well. Minecraft is a memory hog, and typical VPS setups have very little.

Minecraft can be a memory hog, but you can force it to use a minimal ammount of memory and it really doesn't impact performance.

ID's NY server is up but the server_name has a type as it shows Ladle 4.
Also, the settings are still from your Mega Fort server compguy and no ladle settings are rincluded.

If this isn't updated, we will have to use ToA
