I never really had a bad trip so I can't really help you there.
They last quite a while like try to plan ahead don't do them on a day where you're gonna need to accomplish anything. Just a fair warning though coming off of them is really shitty.

I've never had a bad trip either, but some people can get really emotional. That's why I said it's good to do it with people you feel close to, people you feel "safe" with. Usually, just a little reassurance is enough for most people to come out of it. Worrying about a bad trip is the surest way to have one - Don't Panic. And yeah, it could be about 3-8 hours depending on the potency of the mushroom and how much you take. And coming down isn't so bad. I never had much more than stomach cramps.

Doing psychedelics is an internal journey. You can hear a lot of advice, but really, it's more about how your personality fits the drug - and you can't know that until you try. If you tend to be the worrying type, psychedelics aren't for you. Confidence and an even temperament rule in this case.

Today, last day before spring break. A kid named Brandon who is 17 came to school drunk. During 1st block, he pukes on himself, then pisses on himself and passes out on the desk.

Did it on saturday. Definately one of the most fun and interesting moments of my life. The best part was when I noticed that when I moved my hand, it had a trail of other hands behind it, which made me laugh so I did it for like 15 minutes

Nice. I'm glad to see it was a safe and fun adventure. I remember a time I loved my feet a lot. I was in a room with a black-light and my shoelaces were wicked cool when my made a scissor-kicking motion. Did that for a loooong time, laughing my arse off.

Are they dangerous to take..? I mean, they ARE just mushrooms, they naturally grow and have the properties that make you see shit, but is there some kind of side-effect?

Everything has a side effect. There's stuff that grows "naturally" that'll kill you as fast as you can eat it.

Take this stuff seriously. It may not be immediately obvious or apparent how it's affected you, and it may take many years before you can see the full side effects. But they are there, whether they're immediately apparent or not.
