Just thought of this and I am not sure if it has been mentioned before.
The Tab Score Menu. Ever thought of adding a section next to the Score Column or something that shows the number of deaths a player has. Not sure if that would congest the menu but I think an add on to the menu should be made for the number of times someone is core dumped. I would like this because it shows someone's kills to death ratio (if you divide the player score by 2 in fortress, duh) and I think it would be a beneficial add on.
The only problem I have is that this probably only has a huge affect in fortress when 1 kill is 2 points and no points are awarded to a player besides kill points; unlike in sumo with zone points or other game types with suicide negative points.
If this can't be added to the menu; is there a possible way to implement this into the game in some fashion?

This was asked a couple of pages back..
dlh wrote:A client deaths stat is simple to add, but a kills stat is not possible without a new network message. The server keeps track of death actions (player1 coredumped player2, player1 committed suicide, …), and it doesn't notify the client of how it scored that action. All the client knows is that a cycle was killed.Lord Pein wrote:[...]

Ahh thanks Lacka.
So reading dlh's reply post to mecca; it is really easy to add a deaths column but not a kills column? Is the kills column even needed?
I mean; if a deaths column can be added, that would be very beneficial especially because in fort all you have to do is divide a player's score by 2 to get the number of kills.

if something like this is ever going to be done, it would be funny if servers could dictate models as well...imagine a jurassic park server filled with all kinds of dinosaursWord wrote:i remember this topic.
Is anyone working on it?
Here is a post by epsy which i just quote for no apparent reason
for me, this would be the most interesting feature of 0.4...epsy wrote:if skins weren't paid, they would be managed on a server-scale(IMO the appropriate place), with the skins themselves being hosted on a resource repository.

Re: 0.4 Featureset
That has been discussed before, and it's not gonna happen, for what should be obvious reasons.
Re: 0.4 Featureset
Yeah, you can do that to get the amount of kills in gametypes that do not award points for anything other than kills.INW wrote:Ahh thanks Lacka.

Re: 0.4 Featureset
I wonder if it is possible to create an Armagetron Advanced Fortress Add-On for this. I have no clue how it would be done but could it be done somehow?
