pig: It was a memory overwrite bug that apparently did not bite everyone. It lies in their nature to strike unpredictably. On some builds and some PCs, they appear, on others they stay dormant. All builds from the b0_2_8 branch up until now should have been affected, including the tag v0_2_8_beta4. It's just coincidence that your build did not crash for you, just as my build did not crash for me.
