Oh btw liz, Just because fortress is enjoyable for you does not mean you need to bring your sorry self here and ruin WST tournaments as well. You have been playing for a long time, and I am sure you have had to face your own team in the past, Idk why it is such a big deal Now (must be that time of month again) But seriously girl, you are no better than anyone else in this tournament, so next time just be a big girl and tough it out :)
Oh man I hate when I have to do this, but J-Dawg you are 100% out of line. First off, liz isn't whining in this thread anywhere. Second, she did not ask to switch places. Let me repeat that so everyone can see: Liz did not ask to switch places. Ritsuka switched the teams on his own initiative because he thought it would make a more interesting WST. While I don't think the teams should be switched, I think his intentions were pure and just maybe switching the teams would make a better WST (we have yet to see!). Yes, she has had to face her own team in the past, more than anyone else here. One of the reasons for questioning the randomization is because of the 0.33% chance of KS meeting each other in consecutive tournaments. That is a remarkable stroke of bad luck. And on top of that, when mYm was still a team, there were only two times a second squad was entered in Ladle they faced each other in the opening round both times. So yeah, I'd say she is taking her bad luck quite well.

And knock off the sexist crap.

Well a large portion of the community(even including a member on the team getting an easier bracket!) has come foward and inveighed against switching the brackets around, making it pretty clear that this isn't the right decision. The call is yours, rits, but when the only support for switching the brackets is coming from only two people (especially two people who are seeking the bracket change for their own personal gain), I think the just decision is pretty clear :).

That doesn't change the fact that other teams have/will participate against their own team, and hope the next time they won't. Do we really want tournament brackets be a "oh well their percentage of them meeting was really bad until now so they should switch?" Hell to the No! I'm not even questioning the brackets (although that is a bad strand of luck) because sometimes that can happen. Maybe not as poorly as that, but it has, had, and will continue to happen in tournaments. But whatever, Fixed WST's can be fun too i guess.

I had to look this word up. I've never heard this word spoken or even used in any literary context ever before. Didn't think I would learn anything from this thread, but I guess I was wrong.

Woof - thanks for the english lesson! :D

I think the decision was clear when Ritsuka decided to make the decision.. I dont see why people cant respect that, if people dont like it.. Bye.

Which two people are those? I can't seem to find them in this thread.

People typically don't respect decisions that appear to be unjust and immoral. And again, I see what you're trying to do here; however, Rits can still put the brackets back to their original state, which is definitely what the majority of the community is asking for here.

Perhaps search a little harder, it shouldn't be that difficult to tell :)

"unjust and immoral"? jesus christ man, you realize you're talking about a game right? It's not like I stomped on your rights or defiled your women.

You, orion, J-Dawg, Gonzap, Nanu, Fipp, over, sine, kyle and apple hardly represent the "majority of the community", and I really don't understand why anyone is even still talking about this. I've already told apple that if his team isn't in favor of the change the brackets will be returned back to the original randomization. And if they are in favor, the brackets will remain as they are and you can boycott the tournament for all I care.

Please wolf, i know u arent stupid, rits made it clear earlier that he wasnt going to, yet you are still going on about it..

And what exactly am i doing, i honestly didnt care who we played in the opening round, but i do care about how the situation is being handled by the few of you especially when we are pointing fingers at someone who just asked to see the bracket randomizer..

So please, respect rits decision and move on.

Odd, most of us have merely been responding stating why we disagree with the changing of brackets. In fact, I'm rather pleased with the way the majority of the people in this thread are handling the situation. Most of us have avoided any flame-baiting and have addressed the issues we have with the changing of the brackets. In fact, you targeting me on this thread is one of the few ways the "situation is being handled" negatively. If you don't care about the opening round, that's fine, but I don't understand why you are attempting to insinuate that the rest of us are somehow being rude when the majority of us have specifically avoided writing anything to provoke conflict.

The majority of the people who posted in this thread*. Clearly every single tronner hasn't come on and posted their opinion, so we can only respond based on the opinions given in the topic at hand, which are a resounding NO to changing the brackets.

And yes, believe it or not, this is a game, with real people. Just because we're on the internet doesn't mean you can't do things that are unjust and immoral. I understand that these words may seem rather harsh; however, when it boils down to it, catering to the requests and complaints of a team over a bracket that should be entirely random is indeed both unjust, and immoral.

Nooooo, I think you better point out the two people who asked for the teams to be switched, like you claim. Or are you full of shit? I'm thinking you are full of shit and just want attention, thus all the melodramatic talk about morality, justice, and precedents. Good grief.

Tryhards can't handle the pressure I guess.

EDIT:

Again, where are the requests and complaints? Please show them to me.
