Actually it was Conc, Xyron & 1200.Overrated wrote:Congrats Conc, dread and 1200 on winning.
Didn't you sign up a team full aliases not knowing who would play? How is that different? </devils advocate>Overrated wrote:Congrats Conc, dread and 1200 on winning.
As rashly as the brackets were put together, it came out well, but even when doing brackets please be aware of teams and whether they actually signed up correctly. Cookie's team (The Fruits I believe) only had 1 person legitimately signed up in their team leader, the rest being under "TBD." This shouldn't qualify as a team, given the fact it technically is only 2 separate aliases (ironic right?). On top of that, a team shouldn't be allowed to have 4 subs not signed up to play for them. Offers an unfair advantage for the rest of the community, but I digress. Good job getting the brackets and authorities set up. I still believe this should have been pushed back a week. Mainly because euros were given an extreme disadvantage, the servers weren't randomized (or so I heard), and there was a lack of euro servers (leads to a disadvantage for euros). Also, I know someone from Eeveelutions didn't make it because he thought the tourney would be postponed/cancelled because no brackets were up until late last night, so he wasn't at home. But yeah, other than that, good job doing it rushed.
Wrong, I signed up Vaporeon as team leader to begin with. The plans then were to have you be Flareon, poke as Jolteon, and Red as Espeon or Umbreon. When plans changed the day before (I had to work the next day, Red was out and didn't know the tourney was still going to happen since brackets were late, poke slept in because he's sick), it left us in a bind. I still kept myself on there, in Vaporeon, because I was hoping we would be able to make the quarters and I could sub in then. I kept both poke and Red on there because I thought they were coming. Turns out that wasn't the case. The extra one was for a sub so we all had the names we wanted if we were to come. You were the only person who came, and I was expected at least Red to show up so then you could have the sub you found be either Espeon or Umbreon dependent on who Red chose. So we had Jolteon for poke still there, but he overslept, and Vaporeon for me in the instance I finished work and got home before the team was knocked out. I had everything planned, but other issues got in the way of them coming to fruition.ElmosWorld wrote:Didn't you sign up a team full aliases not knowing who would play? Agreed. I normally no longer ever donate ID VA1 for that reason. I only did it to ensure that a WST happened this time.ElmosWorld wrote:ID VA 1 was below average.ItzAcid wrote:ID VA2 was flawless through the 3 matches we played in.
