that is g1, g2 etc are group numbers disregard those.

Actually, I think that time was never an issue... when the teams had their set date and time to play, then they vowed to be there... the problem is when not all the teammates show up or even a whole team wouldn't arrive. I remember also, a lot of team captains became very unsattisfied with who their team members were. Some teams were balanced with experienced players and noobs but some teams were equipped with all veterans and others all noobs. Eventually I believe the tournament wasn't neccesarily canceled due to lack of moderators and teams captain participation, but to the growing pains of being on a sappy team and ofcourse the realities of the real world.

that is why im strongly for singles tournament. We have sort of informal teams event goin on, there are clans also. This is different.

Yes, that would work... I don't know about adjusting to system time, I haven't seen anything for that. It always has to be specified, and at that point we're getting to writing logins...

Well, wondering around here, i saw litle thing that read my IP and other info, so thought it should not be a problem. Never mind, just a silly idea. I'll shop for time gadgets later, we'll see.
And please dont bother with any of it, Tank. Other than point us what else we could do.
Maybe one of our volonteers already start working on it? My computing skills are realy nonexisting, so now would be a nice moment to take over.
Whats your strong point guys? What would you most rather do?

Oh man, i need help, not my dog, lol

we have to make that sign up thing up and running weeks before tourney, and give some good info on it, too.. than find ppl with some experience to administer hole thing, you can try and automatise few things, but i belive it would require at least one persons presence, and dont forget that it MUST last at least 36 hrs to be global, regardles of player numbers. It wont be easy. Ones i spend like 48 hrs playin tron, but this smells like work, lol

I imagine that you must somehow prevent more entrys, and be shure that no uninvited players join in, than watch for nastys, look what happened to goshdarn, and rush players out of it when match is done and notify new group to come in.. and if someone from that group is noshow, maybe allow someone else so all gruops would be equall in size, dunno realy just guessing. maybe a great deal could be arranged in some smarter way, but not by me anyhow. You have some ideas?
