:star: Congratulations Crazy Tronners on the first known perfect Ladle match! They scored 100-0 against Wild West. It is quite possible there have been other perfect matches, but this is the first one we can point to with a recording (below). I think MeetYourMaker beat Wild West 100-2 once and other teams have also had 100-2 matches. Anyway, they also did this in 6 rounds with NPH's in rounds 2,3, & 6. Well done!

Welcome Serendipity and Acceleration! I hope you meet your potential over the next few months. The Fortress landscape is wide open for a new dominator.

so, I was watching the finals aarecs and noticed that vein's ping was about 50 points higher than Durka's. Mister told us that Vein was in LA this Ladle, and as far I know Durka is also in SoCal, so it would stand to reason their pings would be similar. They weren't, and vein didn't particularly complain about lag or, apart from a two freezes, really appear to be experiencing the type of client-side lag that would drive a 90ish ping to 140ish. Vein's ping was much closer to Xyron's or delic's or quantic's, who are all EU players. If vein was lagging, we had subs, but vein never asked for a sub.

I asked Kyle, who owns CT USA, for vein's IP, and it came up Amsterdam, NL. I don't know for certain who this player is, but after comparing the vein we saw in Ladle 83 to past aarecs, I'm almost positive from playstyle that whoever played as vein last Ladle wasn't actually vein. Mister & Vein were traveling around Europe recently, but I can't see why Mister would tell our whole team Vein was in LA if vein was actually in Amsterdam. Furthermore, vein disappeared during our semifinal match, which was EU. If Vein was in Amsterdam, he would probably want to play in a European semifinal server.

I have no proof of who [abc] vein actually was, and I don't know why Mister would lie about this to the rest of our clan, but I'm almost positive that vein wasn't vein. I also have to assume that vein and Mr know who the impersonator was, since they both were required to cover for that player. Considering the Amsterdam ping and playstyle and recent attempts to join our clan, I fairly certain that the impostor was Liz, but I can't prove this. I can say that I don't know any another Dutch player that a) has any resemblance to the vein that played ladle b) is tight enough with Mr and vein to try something like this. By process of elimination, I'm not sure there is anyone it could be besides Liz.

If you watch the recordings, though, you will notice that Vogue appears as a spectator in our Semifinal match, then disappears during Final. The [abc] vein player does the opposite. Similarly, vein wasn't present during our opening round war against RT, then showed up for our quarterfinal. Vogue played her Opening Round with Acceleration, and could only impersonate [abc] vein after they were eliminated. The two aren't in the same place at the same time.

Opening Round: Vogue plays in Acc vs. SH \\ ABC wars RT (team was Box, Coco, blondie, insa, mr, delic)
Quarterfinals: ABC vs SDP - [abc] vein shows up
Semifinals: ABC vs CTO - Vogue spectates, [abc] vein disappears
Finals: ABC vs RT - [abc] vein plays with Amsterdam ping, Vogue does not spectate

In reviewing my skype conversations with Mister, I'm not sure when this whole thing was arranged. My best bet would be between Saturday midday (US time) and Sunday morning (US time). I'm 98% sure about the stuff above, but my ideas about the timeline are no better than 50/50.

In light of this, I can say I'm very relieved we didn't win Ladle.

If it was Vogue then she played with Acceleration and then when they lost went over to play with [abc]. Vein did sub in [abc] vs Serendipity while [abc] was losing and I can't lie that does put me in a fairly bad mood to think we lost our chance at semi-finals to some sort of foul play. This wouldn't be the first time Liz impersonated someone during the ladle (http://forums3.armagetronad.net/viewtop ... 60&t=20364); this in fact is the thread that started the Authentication during the ladle. However, authentication is still not perfect in that it can be hidden or faked. This type of misconduct is one of the reasons I started the FSU thread to dissuade misconduct during the ladle. I think this subject needs more looking into (if possible) and discussion about possible steps to prevent future transgressions.

Yeah- let's cut to the chase.

Liz was vein.

Unlike a lot of you, I like Liz. And I thought it would be fun to play with her again.

Anyway, vein has nothing to do with this- do not drag him into this.

I apologize on behalf of Liz and I, for acting childish and wanting to play with each other ^.^

Do not drag my clan into the small drama I caused, was absolutely my fault.

I can assure you it won't happen again.

Oops, just noticed this. Can I ask where most of you with this complaint were situated? It may be a question of using a different exchange, I've noticed a number of issues with my current one.

It looks like it's your clan dragging you into the spotlight

What is the procedure for when players break the rules?

Way to blow it out of proportion, master tactician ogo. Blondie was honest and did what was right the moment he noticed something was off. Ultimately, the only person who did something wrong was me so point your rules and punishments towards me. Not ABC.
