Why don't you stop flaming and get over yourself... honestly leave that shit on the grid and grow up. Don't come here trying to bait Zap into arguing with you, just makes you look immature and stupid.BoxeD wrote:What's there way..? With strategy and skill? Congratulations to the winners!
Sorry Music Lovers I had to leave after the quarters, but good job making the finals!

Congratulations to Deso, Xyron, Woned, and Boxed!
After my match today, I have several questions about rules! Let me just clarify first that I'm not comlpaining, just asking these questions in hope that rules for such situations can be explained for future participants.
So in our match, none of our opponents were there at the start time. One of our opponents showed up roughly 5 minutes after the match was supposed to have begun, but the rest of his team was not present, nor were a sufficient number of specs to serve as subs. After about 5 more minutes, the opponent decided that the rest of his team was not showing up, and that he couldn't assemble a team, and thus he forfeited the match. We clarified it with him either three of four times that the match had been forfeited by his team (take note he was the designated team captain), and he agreed - thus I went on to move my team on in the brackets. But when I returned to Arma, now roughly 12 to 15 minutes after match-start-time, his team had now arrived. A third party player had went and asked spin if the match should be played, and we all were instructed to play the match. My team didn't want to make a ruckus with the fact that we had clarified three or four times that the match had been forfeited by our opponents, espcially since no rule is put in place for such an instance, so we went ahead and played the match.
Based on this experience, these are my questions pertaining to the rules here:
Again, congratz to the winners!

Based on this experience, these are my questions pertaining to the rules here:
- First, how much time must elapse in which a team does not show up in sufficient numbers to play, before the match is forfeited by that team?
- Second, who on a team can forfeit the match? If a team member suspects his team isn't going to arrive, forfeits the match, and then his team does show up before the time allotted in the answer to question 1, can the opposing team refuse to play on grounds that the player in question already agreed to a forfeit for his team?
Again, congratz to the winners!

Re: WST 6
Space came to a server and asked me about the match. I told him that you guys can start the match if both teams agree to it. probably should have taken a screenshot of it but I did tell him that if both teams want to play, go right ahead.
About the forfeit and then the losing team shows up thing: If the "winning" team wants to play the match, idc. Go right ahead! That is what I told space. Go right ahead and play it if both teams agree!
As far as time before forfeit goes-> 5 minutes.

Sounds good! I wasn't sure if I should include exact names, but as you've said, Space was the third party person. He only told us that you wanted us to play the match, so we were led to believe we had to do so.INW wrote:Space came to a server and asked me about the match. I thank you for clarifiying these questions, and look forward to future tournaments that you may host!
