Grid spelling is old news. People have been making words on the grid probably as long as this game has been around. I know they had been for some time by the time I started playing.

I was just reminded that when I first joined this forum, Lucifer's avatar was a pic of his name spelled on the grid. In fact, here is an entire thread on the subject, with several good spelling pics. And here is a second, in which Limette does a good version of my old name. And here is yet another, with a pic of me having spelled Fonkay.

Here's how I do it:

Mauve grid lines, heh.

I'll come back later and edit in 'ARMAGETRON' in old-school textures.
