I was using macros in my earlier tron days... I created some mazes on them and only had to hit one button...

But it was easier on my keyboard, coz my keyboard had a function for that

Some time ago I was playing a random fortress match. It was 2v2, and I was attacking the defender and a sweeper.
After a bit the sweeper decided to attack, and on its way there, our defender died of boredom.

Well, I tried to get back to save the day, but I remembered that the sweeper had a pending kick poll.
So voilà, Esc > Vote > Kick, the sweeper got zapped with the last vote, and I returned to attack.

One good reason not to vote immediately on the round start
