the ferry stinks, it took 15 hours 4 the long ferry trip, only saw 1 humpback whale.... inside passage gets boring after 3 hours...

lol, yeah there r a lot. But the prob is that they are a long way off the highway. There isn't anything in a radius of 25 km around fairmont....
if u drive 25 km from where i live, u come across 10 gas stations, 7 villages/city's, 15 exits etc... there u drive 25 km and c nothing but trees, gras and when lucky some wildlife... :?

EDIT: Now i remember, 25 km from fairmont is radium hot springs, we drove through it in about 10 seconds, lol. But the beauty of fairmonts springs is that u r in hot water, and u look out the pool and c snow on mountains :?

It's really cool when your there in winter, and it starts to snow. Being in a hot pool and snow coming down, wow. In the summer they kick you out when a thunder storm is starting though  radium hot springs are nice also right next to a mountain, also has a cold pool.

ok, LOL @ the snow...
But we would have time 2 b there in winter, only 2 weeks of vacantion then and it's 2 far flying plus u have a huge jetlag. Had 2 recover for 4 days :? We were lucky cus it was about 30 celcius for the weather. No thunderstorm or anything... They had a hose with ice cold water, the guy sprayed over me and i got angry cus it was so cold, lol :P he didn't spray anyone after that :P

Really sounds like you had fun... I just got back from Varberg which was very nice... A coastal city in western sweden south of where I live with real beaches, though I did not go swimming...

why not? is the water 2 cold?
Here we only have 3 beaches, but we can swim already. And u can also drive there in about 2 hours maximum from anywhere in the country. Lots of Germans there 2; they don't have an own beach. But always errr... i dunno the english word 4 it, in dutch it is a "File", all cars standing still on a highway cus there's 2 much traffic. Always around this time of year. 1 of the beaches is really unpopular cus there was found bodyparts last year of a little girl who was killed by her father :?
But anyway, 2 the most famous beach it's about 4 to 5 hours driving cus the traffic's really slow. In the winter or fall, it's just an hour...
