It's z-husband and z-wife now :) And we're both "whatever you want, honey" types, so I guess none of us wears z-pants.

Sort of off-topic, but my tron-related activities and picture posting get a further delay due to two more things: finally playing Gothic 2 (almost done) and another one of those long seminars next week, this time in Krakow, Poland. All I know about the infrastructure there are my boss' words "either really good, or really, really bad", so it's possible I won't have network.

I think that is the most I-z-eal situation. Thats is the kind of relation I have with my sweety.

An advise to everybody embarquing on that adventure that is "living with somebody else":
When I first moved with my girldfriend, I was basically pennyless, so she paid for everything (with humorous situation like going to the restaurant, and when the bill come, I offer "Darling, I would not be a gentleman if I didnt offer to pay with your own money!"). Later when I got a work, we decided to pay the common billing propotionally to our relative saleries, so I paid like 54% (and she didnt even asked to me to "pay back" some of the money. Yes, she is THAT nice). This seemed quite fair for everybody.
But one thing that really launched our relation was when, to merge many small depts and so we could more easily pay all the bills, we got a common account, and had both salary deposited directly to it. Suddenly it was OUR money. And many small frictions that should never have been, suddenly just dissapeared.
So now, when one of us when to the ATM and the other doesnt have any money left in their wallet, its so easy to just draw a few bills and give them, as they never feel as "your own". Now that my gf is without job (due to the merging of 2 schools), and she discovered a passion for all things web related and studies it (I think I've created a monster there. Its not even been 3 months, and already I think she could out-nerd the best of us), I'm quite happy to support her.
I think that every relation should reach the stage of having a joint account, and no longer caring about whos money it is. Also, I come to realised that even though me and her are really not interested in money, that making a separation between hers and mine actually created small frictions. And it feels really stupid now to look back on that and think "did I really act that way?". We where both ready for that step for a long time, but to think that because we separated the cash, that we acted based on that!
So my advise to you youngster (we will take the "young at heart" one, not the "how many rotation around the massive glub of fusing hydrogen" one) is, really look for the "joint account" in your relationship. It remove problems that are artificially created. And if you feel you cannot share and trust your money with someone, what are you doing trusting them with your life?
