"the boat"* = "das boot"
"run lola run" = "lola rennt"

couple more i'll add:

"greed" = "habsucht"* (recently restored with lost footage & superb IMO)
"metropolis"

* not sure if that was actually used in the release title

yes, you may be right- i may be crazy. OTOH every movie in existence almost always gets renamed many times during worldwide releases. and there are many, many english-speaking markets, both large and small. who knows how the movie was marketed in st. thomas in 1982, for example?

i especially find it funny how asian martial arts films usually wind up with about six tittles in english alone. of course it makes it a real bitch to track them down, sometimes...

orginal line is in german, as is 25-30% of film in question, rest of which is in croatian. Film was made (and action takes place) in todays Bosnia, but at that time we were stil (with some others) Yugoslavia, film cast & crew was mixed so i wrote ex-YU
Das Boot (the boat) here title was not translated, exelent choice

oh Metropolis, of course, essential part of film history
and i liked Litlle drummer boy, dunno its original title

Good point about title translation nic, that is exactly why we here dont translate titles, or the original one is at least writen right bellow translated one

EDIT: not litlle drummer, it was TIN DRUM or something, I'm realy becoming senile

Sabarai , have mercy on me, I can not get that dutch movie out of my head...What do you mean by "worker"? Someone who works for resistance or ...
It is not P.Verhoven (EH Roelfzema): Soldat van Oranje ? no, it would be too easy, hmmmm
Give some more clues, please :?

Paul Verhoeven: Soldaat van Oranje, that's right, but on what novel is it based?

Next question: From what movie is the following line:
Two Clicks, I heard two clicks...

Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema, same title 8)
man, i spend two days thinking about that other, older film, totaly mislead.
Soldat van Oranje is such a famous film that i thought "no,it cant be that...he sad it is a hard question" ddaaaaaaaaaddooo
If your new question is that easy i wont even bother, and i bet that is from some very succesfull hollywood thriller shit no older than ten years so it wouldnt be a problem :)
you got to think up some harder question
