Armagoshdarn is my home... My neighbor is armagoshdarnish 2.6.

I like to see who is in the other servers, but rarely go and say hello. I just don't like the setups. Some of them are great though. I saw one that was across between goshdarn and darnish 2.6. with the grid size and speed of darn and the rubber of ish 2.6...FYI.

the major lag problems on darn seem to have dissapated, at least for me, pings are back to a semi-normal reading for me. Yay! I can play at home again...

it all depends on darn, sometimes its able to fix itself for awhile and sometimes it regresses

I think it is funny when I go into goshdarn all by myself and suddenly five or eight people showup gradually. I notice that the more people there are, the greater the lag. Then they start complaining about it being to laggy... is laggy a word? So anyways, One by one they leave again and the lag has become less fierce. I am so used to the grid in armagoshdarn that I forget that there is lag and just play the game. It has never irritated me so much as when ethereal said that the lag was bad just when I had strategically core dumped the fool. As if my own skill was reduced to a grid failure. I seem so tempted to turn my chat off so I don't have to read their 'stupid lag' or 'It is too laggy in here, let's go to another server'. I say good bye and good ridance! The less there are of you, the less lag there is for me and the better I play. So... please, try to take 'lag' out of your vocabulary and change it to something more positive like 'lol' or 'man I was stupid'. Cause it comes down to the fact that you died because you did not take into consideration that the computers are not linked as if we were in the same room.

I am done venting.

I try to never use the "L" word when playing, it is a part of the game and the ability to adapt and play with it is the mark of an excellent player, imo. I have never hear node say anyhting about lag in a game when he gets dumped...I hate lag whiners, it happens, get over it...
