Low 70s today. It was nice. Cool breeze, warm air. Good December day.

112, and that was in September of 2000, which was coincidentally three months after I crashed my motorcycle. My sister had given me my truck, which has no AC, and the doctor had told me to wear long-sleeved shirts or my arms would be different colors.

It was freaking hot.

But not the hottest day I've personally weathered, I don't think. :) But the humidity is a killer.

Temperature dropping again, down to 40 right now. No freeze in the forecast, however. Mid-30s as the overnight lows for the next week or so, but highs in the 50s.

I love Texas weather. I really do. It changes as often as I change moods. Now if it could only get in sync with my moods....

Edit: Forgot to mention that my arms wound up different colors anyway. The doctor told me to stay out of the sun, but he didn't say anything about welding devices. :( Oh well, my arms are cooler now that they don't match.

Yeah, Chicago and Louisville. Heh, I'm kinda surprised a guy from Europe knows about that reputation, though. But, what do I know?

It seems like you find this all the way up and down the midwest. I wasn't aware Chicago had a reputation for changing the weather a lot, but there's an old saying down here in Texas. "If you don't like the weather, stick around. It'll change." And it does, always. In the fall, winter, and spring, the weatherman usually gets it wrong. He'll say "Highs in the mid-70s, wind at 7mph from the north" and we'll get highs in the mid-80s, wind at 2mph from the south.

Only in the summer does he get it right, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out it'll be hotter than hell in the summer in Texas.

New England is kinda' standard for weather but this year has been a strange one, it stayed warm right up to winter where the air was eager to jump down to the single degrees farenheit

Heh, that saying isn't exclusive to Texas, either. This is semi-interesting to know, though. I wonder what other cities think they're the ones to which these things apply. Anyone?

We're known for our change of weather. But that's out of the Canadian Provinces.
