you nabs, people practice with their ladle teams all the way up until ladle.. nobody needs 10 days prior..

I vote to allow the signups till next thursday! so we can get more teams.

I'd suggest allowing people to sign up till the thursday before the event itself, but we could already tell we will only get a 32-team bracket (currently EU 10/16, NA 11/16) so the spots would be limited now. Advertise a little and we should be able to get 32 teams

About starting time, would 17:45GMT as rppx suggested be fine for everyone else? Or is earlier/later preferred?

17:45 is what I thought of too :p but it may take longer so who knows.

As for sign-Ups, I think I will extend the date until the brackets deadline.

I don't know about other people, but I won't know my availibility until at least some time next week. And although I'd like to play, I don't want to disappoint a teammate signing up so early only to miss because of an unknown factor.

Soul and I decided that we will extend the sign ups until the 17th, assuring we fill up our brackets, but spots are limited so sign up fast!

TST with Lower Brackets?

we got 8*4 players, Winner Brackets would be - The top 2 teams - The lower 2 would go for one match elimination
(Except the first matches the last 2 would get eliminated from the whole Tournament)

i'll explain it so everybody gets it

1st Round) As you can see OMG BECKY, Srinivasa, The Immortals, CUP start with the first match, OMG BECKY(1.) and The Immortals(2.) (we can do it that the first match counts 2 points as a match win. if 4 teams are in the zone the first one is going thro, the 2nd one gets one point, and its 3 teams in the zone, now with the 2nd placed team in the last match with a handicap of one, ikr its complicated, not really just think), then the last 2 gets eliminated and are out of the tournament,

2nd Round) (13 +14 in the Image) would be hold OMG BECKY, The Immortals, Master Series and VGA now same settings as in the first match, except the losers go in the Lower Bracket where they meet the other losers of the other group (Backstreet Boys and Filling Slot II won)

3rd Round) Lower Bracket: 4 Teams, 1 Match 2 go on, last 2 leave the tournament,
Winner Bracket: 4 Teams 1 Match 2 go on, last 2 Loser Bracket

4th Round) Same as Round 3
5th Round) Same except the first 2 will meet the EU players

Hmm sounds like a good idea roter, but i recall TTT having something similar, although i think TTT was strictly double elimination the whole time. Now we could just leave it as it is and have less teams in opening rounds.
