No theroze, that wouldn't be random. You're in irc a lot. If you're curious you can play around with the bot or ask someone there who knows...

Nobody said how this thing really works?
I got a clue that there's a thing called 'Randomiser'... but is there any way to see the working code(source code) of this thing?
(Its like 'Microsoft' saying .. "Ours product is the best but u cant see its code").

A mere suggestion , Why don't we just... let each team decide their own fate? By using some 'JavaScript'... lets make this whole process online n Transparent?

We can count number of servers and assign each one of them some definite value (like.. no1 no2..etc).
And after that let each team roll a 'Dice' (or some device which will generate numbers within servers range...with no server assigning itself more than 2 teams).Comparing Dice Value generated they will be assigned the particular server.Once the first round is filled .. rest of the teams will be assigned servers for next round...keeping single team per server this time.

Of course ,I believe u must be using more sophisticated methods than this.
But it will be Great if u let 'us' ('teams') decide our fate.

Im emphasizing on 'Do it yourself' approach ...cause the phase between the randomised output and putting that output on the brackets cannot be assured as 'Random'

By no means ,this msg/post intended to criticize or attack any individual. There's possibility that someone may think of this as a disrespectful post (like my last post) .. but i can assure its not.Just little confused by the lack of knowledge or situation.I heard ppl here are friendly and hence I dare to put my little knowledge. :D :D

Every team is assigned a number and then the numbers are shuffled a bunch of times and then the new number that each team has is their seed.

Just a reminder.

I will not be available tomorrow for this tournament because I'll be working.

Hopefully it can run by itself.

Any problems or questions will have to be resolved on their own.

Duka, I am aware of the stats you have mentioned. In fact, I totally agree about the randomness of the script! But, you can see how the perception of many is quite different. Really, my point is that randomness includes the possibility of some appearance of order, in small instances, or our perception. Really, 5 Ladles of seeing CT in the first round is not as many as ID has played SP, and even that number, given the number of Ladle Teams, and ID having played in about 27 Ladles, is about a little bit above average, but not much.

Special thanks to Formula 1, who gave us the most competitive match with neat agressive play.

And the coordinators & participants, off course.

Glad this turned out on its own.

Maybe that is a good thing for its future.

Existing connections are unaffected, but everyone not yet connected (server browser pings, new logins) gets served on a per-frame-budget. If that runs out, requests start getting dropped, and that happens very early in processing. The impact of various flood attacks is dampened then. Sure, they can clog the pipes if they're strong enough, but they won't push the server update loop into the black hole.

Why do you ask? Did a server enter turtle mode? If so, logs would be helpful, it probably was a false alarm and I'd like to iron those out.

Your server entered turtle mode in the finals (the matches you recorded). It ended after a couple rounds.
