No shuffling is working out fine so people can stick to the position and learn it. Now everyone can learn every position.

I think the current rule in G5 is fine. As frustrating as it is, it's still better than shuffle wars. In a shuffle war, you have an entire team changing positions every round. That is WAY more disruptive than having a bad center because the rest of the team can compensate, usually, if they aren't arguing too much.

And if people want to play seriously, there are pickup games (very successful format) and private servers. Enough players have authority at enough servers that it's possible to get a private game going at any time (which is something totally cool and unique about Fortress culture).
