See, it's funny that Solar comes back saying "Hey, really, I'm a nice guy, except I occasionally sleepwalk and do really dumb things that get people all riled up."

6 Years marked the day on July 22nd, 2009 for the years I played Armagetron and what then became Armagetron Advanced. I took off for three months letting some steam vaporized and a side of the story to tell. As people may hate me for bringing the topic up, I just want to get my side out very clear. And please, ask me questions, I can answer them truefully now.

Introductory

On a random day with a random question. “Steven, would you like to play a game I found? It was on Family Guy!” spoke a friend. “Sure, what’s it called?” I asked him. “Armagetron” he said.

I was over at his house and played what was known Armagetron. It wasn’t just quite yet Armagetron Advanced but soon enough it became. I went home and downloaded Armagetron and played and played non-stop. I wasn’t the very best at video games until I had taken the time to understand the 3D Light Cycle game.

The summer has past, the weather had gotten colder, and Christmas just arrived. My parents are split-up and I had two Christmas ever since I was a child. My dad bought for his house a computer. I then helped hook it up and showed my half-brother (Tool) Armagetron. He said that the game was awfull but could no resist. He then continued to play and had gotten better.

Element Clan was just born and Tool had discovered it. I some what knew how to work forums but didn’t know every detail. It didn’t take me long to understand how forums worked. I made Tool a signature and he had created an application to join Immortal Dynasty. I then to right beside him created an application and then I was registered to Immortal Dynasty. I did play with the leaders (Sin and Eagle Eye) not to long before the clan was created.

Nightmare took some moods and decided to make the clan look bad, and was continue to hurt the clan so many times that Eagle Eye and Sin prepared the newest clan that would be called Immortal Dynasty, Players were allowed to be automatically in the clan who were in Element except for Nightmare. Nightmare was the founder and registered admin so they site/forums could not be taken over.

Over periods of time, a man name Quarg had enter the clan of Immortal Dynasty and decided to dedicated us servers, then we became one of the most popular clan in High Rubber, the clan grew big to on average, 30 people.

My grades were horrible, I had to leave Immortal Dynasty clan and only do homework on the computer and by the time I was done, it was my brother’s (GlorifyingEnd) turn to be on the computer. My grades then raised and I returned to the Immortal Dynasty clan with a new application, I was then accepted.


My Story, How I got stuck in the path

Two months before the Immortal Dynasty forums were hacked by Code Hunter, I had created a forum (and honestly don’t remember) in May.

I have these dreams, where things really truely happen. I also sleep walk during the night. I get up in the middle of the night, either get a class of water and not know it, grab butter out of the fridge and bring it upstairs, ask where the crayons are so I can draw, fold up my own blankets I am sleeping with and set it on the nightstand, almost pissing in the fridge, random people on my xbox list that I added, and now this Forum I created has proof.. I created the forum in 3 AM, I am usually in bed by that time & and way before it.

In July, the forums redirected me to a site that was Rick’ed Rolled. I then knew something was up. During the month of June, Velocity (VcL) and Immortal Dynasty had fights non-stop, and then Creator joined the Immortal Dynasty clan once again. I was in on a server and over read that Creator should be back in Immortal Dynasty and be admin once again. I quickly ran on the ID Forums and said do not make Creator admin, something is going to happen. It then happened.

Taco registered on the forums I had made (That I wasn’t aware of) two days after the site got hacked. It would then get attacked on me for the reason why I went on Taco’s newest Immortal Dynasty website account.

A week after, I had asked Arilou to give me the old ID Forum logs for a remembrance of the clan because I spent so many hours per week, per month, and per year on the forums, and having them would mean so much.

I was a little tired, liquored up, and was talking to TaZ on msn, threatening for him to tell the truth. I was talking to TaZ because it seemed like no one cared for the forums just as much as I did. I then read the database for the old ID Forums and discovered that I had access to all 700+ accounts, e-mails, and passwords to everyone. I then logged into Kira’s account first. I went on his email and then saw that information was being flooded about Code Hunter and lawyers and I had to tell TaZ that Code Hunter better watch out. TaZ didn’t believe me so I handed Kira’s account and password over to him. I then said, this needs to stop TaZ, you got to come forward. No answer was replied.

The msn conversation between TaZ and I were posted to the public and then I was demoted to a member of the Immortal Dynasty forums. For some strange possible reason, I got Taco’s password and went on his account and I was being kicked from the clan. I went on and started to ban the admin’s on the forums because I wanted to know what was going on, why I was being booted. I was never told to stop talking to TaZ, until people started to read our conversation. The Immortal Dynasty clan then said it was only to frighten you “Solar”. They asked me how I got Taco’s password. Even though Taco’s new password to the new forums was not the same as the old forums or even the forums I had made, there is no explanation on how I got his password. Absolutely none, and to think how I still got it really beats me. Could be one of those strange nights where I sleep walk, and just remember the password in my head but nothing else. If you think this is a lie, it surely isn’t.

I was then forced out of the Immortal Dynasty clan and went over to the VcL vent to thank TaZ for letting this happen to me. I said to him, Armagetron now means nothing to me, here are the 700+ passwords to the old forums, enjoy them. But before I gave them to him, I told Destiny to change her password immediately. Not to long after, on the grid of Armagetron the passwords were being floated around by PEOPLE. I talked it over with Destiny and she thanked me for letting her know to change her password but she asked, Why did I tell her on FroZen’s msn account. I told her, I don’t have you on msn. Even though passwords floated around, I am still banned from Wild West. I quit armagetron for 3 months and I have been appearing into servers and getting a warm welcome. The people who I liked passwords and names were taking off the list, I didn’t take Destiny off because people would have asked if Destiny had anything to do with it.

Edit/P.S. - I do plan on going to college next year, moving in may to a closer location to the college I want to be at, and getting a job and being settled in. I want to take Graphic Design which is a 3 year program. Will I have enough time to show myself in Armagetron? I will soon find out in the near future. Which means I would be unlocked to all the servers once again. I will re-appear in a alias.

Further evidence of why clans are forking stupid, wack-ass, weak and why these kids need to get some perspective quick, and real, genuine lives—both social and intellectual.

And while on the subject, what's up with the heavy increase in clan activity on this server over the last few years? Seems like there used to be next to none. Now, stupid kiddies and their stupid clans are dominating the forum. Didn't I read something some time back about a forum being developed that was going to be an umbrella for all AA-related klans? Can't you all just stick with that and leave your silly clan activity off this one?

I am a clan member/division leader, and I too think that "clan drama" has no real place here. This should be a place to be able to discuss issues that affect the Armagetron community as a whole, not stupid clan drama. And we really could do without the spam.

Fool, the point is that clans and their activity are not "serious business," and therefore are not deserving of this or any sort of drama, or rage, or whatever other significance you idiots put on it.

most games aren't meant to be serious business. It's not entirely wrong to say clans aren't serious business, but still they have a significance.
clans offer a way to play organized matches with a regular team.
you don't need to join one if you don't like to. But clan activity belongs to the game, if you like it or not.

And for most people (not you of course, you aren't an idiot like everyone else) the game would be very boring without clans, after a while.
Lots of popular servers are hosted by clans. Clans aren't attention-seeking because they need virtual friends or because they want to do something for their ego (at least in most cases). A clan consists of players that want to win, but does that mean it isn't competitive to play against such a clan?
If there were no clans, there was no real challenge after you've won against all AIs and non-clan-affiliated players.
All in all clans have more positive sides than negative ones.

None of that made a lick of sense, Word.

If there were no clans, there was no real challenge after you've won against all AIs and non-clan-affiliated players.

I've never taken any particular sense of extra challenge or accomplishment in playing against or beating clanboys that goes beyond that of playing someone not in a clan. And we've all continued to play against people not in clans. I don't know what the hell you're talking about.
