Just wanted to mention that you should choose internet game, not custom connect, but your message below this text box shows you already figured that out.

Downloading and building is free. Getting it to connect to the existing net of master servers requires some trust, however. And getting it known in a future release of the game requires both trust and a commitment to keep it running. To my knowledge, there is no prebuilt release available of the master server.
